Want to call external swf & play in new flash prgm. Want to have a mask cover all but center of external swf?

Tried using loadmovie function did not work. Used loadmovienum but plays the external movie and nothing else. Essentially I found a really cool fire swf. I want to build a fireplace mask and have the external fire swf play in the middle. Please help!
