Who knows about the uk lotto ?

I have been recieving e mails saying i won a lotto and they want some info from me. Im not sure what to do, i sent them an email back asking to verify the email and they did im not sure what that means . can someone help me? The emails are from a real yahoo.co.uk address does that help?
