Why do Democrats hate American ingenuity and quest for knowledge?

because it means people would depend more on themselves and not suck up to the government teat and rely on the liberals to give them everything they need,ingenuity and a quest for knowledge fosters independent thoughts and independent beliefs in general,and democrats can't have that,people thinking and doing for themselves and not asking them for everything.
