Help with choosing a first skateboard?

I have wanted to try skateboarding for a while now....ajnd now that i have a few extra bucks as in ($120) i want to buy one. now iwant to buy a nice one with an artistic bottom. im completely new and i want to go to modells/buy it on modells online. i dont know about anything when it comes to wheels, shapes, sizes. i do know that i want it to be wide because i am a big of a clutz(or whatever sizer a clutz would get) and i want to be able to paint the bottom of it. what is the best board for me?
